Yankee Trace Golf Club

Yankee Trace may not be the most interesting layout, but at a time when many courses are not able to sufficiently maintain course conditions, Yankee excels. Last year was the highest rate of play yet, and the course is in great condition. From the blue trees, the course is all the challenge I can handle. The clubhouse facilities are excellent, and the prices for food and drinks is reasonable. All in all, it's easy to recommend Yankee to friends.

He would play this course again.

We played the original front nine and the Vintage back nine. The course is in great condition. We were behind a slow foursome but they allowed us to play through. Had a good time. It was worth the rate they charged.

He would play this course again.

Fairways and greens in excellent condition. VERY FUN course to play for any handicap. They are updating bunker system and range is one of the best in the area. Pace is great in the am but slows to average in the afternoon.

He would play this course again.

Believe it or not I shot a 63. Then I had to play the back nine.

Great course! Very challenging. It has all the challenges, some narrow fairways, some sand, some water. This is a very well kempt course. Lush green fairways, well manicured greens. I enjoyed it immensely. This is as good of a public course I have played in Michigan. The next time I'm in the area, this is a must play course.

Check out the website as they also have a nice clubhouse and banquet facilities. I cannot rate those as all I did was golf.

Nice layout...peak rates are a bit over the top. Conditions vary but considering the amount of play it gets they do a decent job. Nice clubhouse but so many private functions (money maker)... limits golfer access to the 19th hole far, far too often. Bunkers can be inconsistent.

He would play this course again.
