Our party of four went to the restaurant Friday for dinner. My wife's baked fish was not cooked properly so she only ate about a third of it. I think it was still partly frozen. The rest of us were finished by the time we got the waitress back to inform her of the problem. She took the fish and brought it back 5 minutes later. At that point I was expecting her to say something along the line that we get some type of discount. Instead she acted like nothing was wrong and said "Hope you enjoyed you dinners."
I think they need to treat their customers a little better.
I love the ribeye here and the fish is pretty good too. A couple of issues I have had though makes me think twice before going back. One time I ordered fish and I did not want the "all you can eat" on fish fry Friday. In a previous experience I was served a good portion of Cod and the fish was great. I ordered the same thing a few weeks later and they gave me scrap pieces from the all you can eat night. The owner was there and and noticed the disappointed look on my face and heard my comment about it not being cod. He said it was and went into the kitchen I guess to talk to the cook. Never did rectify my disappointment. Another time I went in and was going to order a steak. There was another couple in the dining area and then there was me. I sat and waited for service for about 10 minutes. The waitress served the couple but looked at me twice and ignored me. I had to get up, walk up to the bar, point my finger at her and (irritated) place my order. I have recommended this place to relatives and they told me they walked out because of no service. It is becoming a hit or miss with this place. The only good thing I can say about this place is the Ribeye is awesome but, the service stinks.
Very disappointed. As all of the other reviews talk about the food I'm going to talk about the golf. #1, very very overpriced. This course is in terrible condition and very poorly maintained. We tried to set up a tee time but they just said come right in. So we did and it was severely backed up and had to wait 10 min each hole. Greens were poorly maintained and had crap all over them. Probably one of the worst courses in the area by far. Also poorly set up I had to walk in there "restaurant" and the lady behind the bar was the one to handle our green fees. Very disappointed as a serious golfer play somewhere else.
Once again not disappointed. Portions were so large I could share with my daughter.
I always end my meal with one of their hotdogs. This time I made them Chicago style $2.50 each compared to the $5 I paid at the place in trenton.
We are here 4-4-14. Very crowded and no waiting area; line twisted through the restaurant and we were almost on top of the other diners. I got the cod. It was good. A utile too much batter but good. The fries were cold. My wife got the seafood sampler. Her fried shrimp were good. The perch was cornmeal fried and was decent. The frog legs were not very good. Too much batter and little to no seasoning. The price of the meal was very cheap. $10 for me and $14 for my wife. Busy place. Get there before 5 p.m. or be prepared to wait for a table.
