One of the most fun golf courses you can play on this globe. Had an absolutely great time. I was concerned some of the holes would be a little tricky and potentially unfair but that was not the case, every hole was fun and had it's own unique challenge.
The course is also one of the most scenic courses you will ever see.
Awful consumer service!! I had a confirmed tee time ... I drove an hour from Vegas to play this beautiful course .. The idiots in the pro shop inform me that my tee time was pushed to 2 hours later. As if it wasn't a big deal... They have my phone number and called me last week to inform me that is was going to be cart path only... But failed to give me a heads up that they where changing my tee time? We were a twosome, they could have fit us in with another group going off the tee... I had to be back in Vegas for a show that I spent $400 to see.. They didn't care for my situation.. I had to turn around and drive back to Vegas!! They said I should have called them to confirm!?!? Morons!! I have never been so mad!! If they would have called me and told me of the tee change, I would have stayed in Vegas.
A spectacular golf experience, one rivaling the trip to Pebble Beach, a must play for any self respecting golfer, but sadly needs to be played a few times before you have a chance of shooting your normal game, if ever. Significant elevation change, spectacular vistas with jaw dropping elevated tees, make this a fun with eyes filled with wonder throughout the round. Here's a link to a review at Forelinksters:
First class service all the way which more than made up for any green issues. The course is spectacular and even though the greens were "dead", they rolled true. The staff is what set this course apart from all others in Mesquite which is why we changed our plans to play it again. We played 36 on Friday (1/25) and were supposed to play another 36 at another local course but changed it to play 36 more at Wolf Creek. Easy decision. Oh, and take your camera to the tee boxes. We will definitely be teeing it up here again!
Beautiful course, very challenging. The greens were atrocious. The best way to describe them is "painted mud". They didn't offer a discount on our green fees, but instead gave us a $25 gift card. There are equally beautiful courses and in far better condition. Flacon Ridge is half the price and awesome! We traveled a long way to play and came out very disappointed. The course should be closed until the greens are repaired.
