My sister had a wedding here just over a month ago and I was her maid of honor (MOH in bride-talk). After looking at a few places, my sister and her then-fiancé landed on Windermere Golf Club because of the scenery and its proximity to where they live.
When we arrived to get the bride dressed, all event coordinator/planner was ready to go. She quickly shooed up upstairs to what I supposed was the bridal suite (it looked like a meeting room with a long table and rolling chairs) for my sister to get in her dress. Photographers came and everything went extremely smoothly, as we got pre-ceremony pics done (it got frigid after a pleasant morning because of rain). The rain did not return and my sister and her husband had a beautiful ceremony under the open sky as the sun was starting to set.
Food is catered in-house and I will say that it was fantastic. My sister and her husband opted to customize their menu, with hors d'oeuvres passed around to guests with stations of Caprese salad skewers and fruit with mascarpone cheese. They had a buffet with many protein choices (beef, chicken, salmon) and sides. The whole event went past midnight and there was not one hiccup.
If you are looking for a place to hold both the ceremony and reception, this may be it for you.
