A members only private country club that is a fun course and always seems in great conditions.
After the 2 rounds here I'm even more impressed with the crew here. Everyone is professional and genuinely nice. The course has a nice layout with our group saying Good Lord out loud on a few scary looking par 4's.
If you get the chance, dont hesitate and pull the trigger on this one. But only if you got the right connections.
We hold our weekly Cinco Ranch BNI networking meetings on Tuesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. Great meeting place and delicious business breakfast.
I went there for my friend's company Christmas party, and I was quite impressed (except for how far away from Houston it is).
I have been told that I am a "loop snob", or just a snob... but I stand by it... it was crazy far.
As for the place itself, it was a wonderful setting. The building itself was beautiful, and the interior was impressive as well. As you enter you are greeted by an open foyer, with a large staircase up to the second floor (where the party was). It reminded me of the type of staircase that some wealthy tobacco magnate's daughter would walk down when greeting her Army 4-Star General suitor.
Unfortunately the food was not up to the standard set by the surroundings, and the DJ was a bit schizophrenic going from hip-hop jam straight into some Celine Dion cry-fest.
But all in all it was a good night out in a very nice setting (even if it did require a passport to get to).
