It was great capturing images for a B'Nai Mitzvah at the Weston Hills Country Club. It had a great set up which gave us the ability to acquire a limitless amount of pictures and great video's. We were able to collaborate with Melanie Santos, the catering manager there which was awesome and the variety of dishes and snacks also seemed endless. This was an amazing experience and we look forward to returning.
My club.. 5 stars or bust!
Our company Tropic Supply is one of this years sponsers for the M.C.A.S.F. 2011 Golf Tournament at the WHCC. I had the opportunity to be stationed most of the morning at hole #5 which was the big money shot (hole in one) and can say that the grounds are well maintained, facilities are clean and kept in excelent condition and service service from staff was good and friendly.
I would recommend this place for just about any event.
I will preface this review by letting you know that I have been to Weston Hills on numerous occasions as a guest but I am not a member. As an avid golfer I have played many rounds of golf at many, many clubs in many states around the US at very exclusive clubs, public facilities and semi-private clubs. Both courses, the Players and Tour, are both very good. One is not better than the other but I have not played either enough times to really have an opinion. Both are challenging but not very hard, based on my 9 handicap. The most challenging holes are 16,17 and 18 on the Players Course. The courses hold a lot of water in the summer months and drainage is poor which is the worst asset of the courses. The greens roll true and fast and are above average. The bunkers are filled with rocks which is unacceptable at a private club and particularly a club with the reputation and price tag that Weston Hills commands. Amenities include a very nice Locker Room and a fine restaurant with great food but the service was sub par. Overall a very good golf experience but not a game changer. I would look around before I invested the money to become a member unless you live in Weston which will allow you early reservations on tee times and a nice community feel.
We love the WHCC. We have been members for 7 years and find that it offers alot more than we ever expected. There are 2 beautiful courses to play so we never get tired of playing there. The main dining room over looks the golf courses and huge water fountains. The bar and grill is our own little Cheers and the men's locker room also has a bar, poker tables, flat screen TVs and full menu. All this and a huge swimming pool, weight room, and tennis courts. Awesome!!
