I was part of a group that hosted a dinner at this club. I didn't golf or eat.
Very nice experience. I'm no country club expert but the few clubs I've been to don't seem as nice as this one. Many show the wear and tear of the recession and declining membership.
Not this place. I looked. The building was in excellent condition and had a relaxed formality about it. The decor isn't dated. Maybe 'classic' would be a better descriptor. I expected Don Draper to walk through the door at any moment.
The staff was attentive but not intrusive.
In the part of the club I was there were two other meetings going on off the main foyer. There was no overlap of noise or any confusion. Very nicely done.
If planning an semi-formal to formal event, this would be nice place to have it.
