Very satisfied with this place. The prices are great the facilities are well kept. 8 bucks for twilight! That's less than a dollar a hole! My friends living in the city are jealous about this place.

Fun, clean, and beautiful scenery. Can do various activities in a decent amount of space; bbq, kids park, volleyball, walk the dog on the paved trail around the lake or jog, small boating, eating outside off the lake; and of course, golf. This is our 1st choice of park or forest preserve.

love this place! although i'm not a golfer but looks tempting. the paddle boats are too much fun! love the path. fortunately i work close enough to just park my car on my lunch & stare at the water. very calm place compared to lake arlington with the lance armstrong wannabes cycling too close for comfort.

I've been wanting to go paddleboating since last summer and had no idea there was somewhere so close to my condo! Now I'll tell you why Twin Lakes is so awesome and I'm going to go back as much as I possibly can this summer:

-You can paddleboat, canoe or kayak for just $5/hour pp! Boating is only open weekends from 11am-6pm
-It's a nice little lake with some adorable large baby ducks and a [email protected]$$ black duck circling around, not to mention a little waterfall island in the center
-You can chill out on the deck overlooking the lake
-Roccovino's with good food options and liquor! Totally surprised me to see a well established 'burbs pizza joint branch here. Bottles of house wine for $18!
-Friday night bands every other week on the outdoor deck from 7-9pm, I gotta check that out!
-The lake is called DOUGHNUT LAKE! No joke. That alone warrants this spot 5 stars.

The young guys working here and the guys working in the food spot were friendly and great. I saw a lot of people fishing which surprised me and then creeped me out worrying about coming face to face with a catfish if my boat overturned! Twin Lakes also has a driving range and golf course for you players.

Twin Lakes is a bit hidden, but it's off the Northwest Hwy exit on 53. Follow the signs and enjoy free parking - yay 'burbs!
