I liked the food. Haven't played on the course itself, but the view is beautiful and well kept!
I played Timarron CC as part of my Club Corp membership so the price was right, but I would have paid $150-200 to play this course! Each hold had unique character, there was a nice balance of risk/reward on each hole, and the course was in nice shape for the lack of rain.
The range was very large and was in great shape. The staff was very helpful and we saw a marshall every so often even though the pace of play was reasonable for a private club.
Check out my photo of the 18th hole which was super fun to play. I wish I could have emptied a bag of balls for my second shot to this par 5 until I hit the green, but Tin Cup was not playing on this day. Didn't ask the membership costs since I already belong to a club, but this one is nice for the golf enthusiast.
Timarron is a private golf club owned by Club Corp. Timarron is a true golf club in that there are no tennis facilities or pool. It is labeled as a Byron Nelson Jewel. And is a great golf course. I might also add that it is not very expensive as private clubs go because it is " non-equity". There are memberships available as is true with all private clubs. Negotiate the fees with them before you commit.
