Course is well kept and the service is superb. Dawn to dusk range hours and great views in both the front and back of the course
This review is for their BANQUET facilities:
I had my 50th birthday party here and everything was fabulous!! Tom was very easy to work with and made all of the arrangements for the party. The food was delicious: not easy to do with a buffet for 90+ guests! Everyone raved about it! The bartender was friendly and fast! Logan took care of everything for us the night of the party. The room and the view were lovely. We used the inside and the outdoor patio, so we had plenty of space. I only wish we could have stayed later! I definitely recommend Tijeras Creek Golf Club for an event location.
Great layout.......slowest play in OC...clueless marshalls ....waited on every swing 5 -10 minutes...horrible.. .will not see me again ever
10:40am tee time
Did not tee off until 11:15, Finished the round at 4:15 = 5 hour round.
Fairways were not in good shape at all. Bunkers were muddy.
Greens are slow and very bumpy, too much tournament play I guess.
All of this can be yours for $125.00
What a joke...
Gorgeous course with an extremely challenging "Ball Eatin'" back 9. Clubhouse and bar area are well maintained as are the course grounds themselves.
Staff seemed to be very helpful and courteous. A really beautiful facility.
Arrive early a.m. and you will be treated with a vast array of wildlife, (bunnies, deer, squirrels, etc.)
However... A word to the wise. The joggers seem to like this place quite a bit and will even "interrupt" the flow of your game as if this place is a jogging course instead of a golf course...
One other thing that struck me as odd... When we finished the front 9 and stopped at the hot dog vendor for a "brat" and some "dogs", he said he doesn't carry the buns to go with them. Had to walk over to the "snack bar" window, buy / pick up our buns and walk back to the weenie wagon!!! Maybe a petty complaint but it was kind of bizarre if you ask me.
Definitely worth a repeat visit tho...
