This doesn't even deserve a star. The staff was ridiculously rude. How do they expect customers if they are unprofessional.
Lake at castle hills golf club- When I was sent there by the temp company in early July, I banned the temp company from sending me there again because the kitchen was disgusting, way to many flies, several dead flies on prep surfaces, and even flies in the food.
So I was sent there last weekend and this weekend because I needed the cash.
The kitchen is cleaner.. But still has flies. I was setting up the salad station when I noticed the ranch dressing had a fly in it. I pulled out the container to dump it and the cook said "no no" and proceeded to try to fish the dead fly out so the dressing could be used. I told him "No! We are throwing it away!" And I gave it to a manager who dumped it.
I kept my eye on this guy all night. When cooking a burger he picks up a burger patty with his bare hands seasons it and puts it on the grill.
Does he go wash his hands? No he wipes his hands with a towel, while touching the prep boards, vegetable, etc. then proceeds to wipe the prep board with the raw meat/e-coli towel.
Same cook, handled raw fish (never washed his hands the entire night nor did he wear any gloves. He cut raw fish and then proceeded to use the same knife to half a grilled cheese sandwich. Hope the customer who ate the grilled cheese doesn't have a seafood allergy.
They had a buffet last night, in which customers served themselves. Health code dictates that any food that leaves the kitchen, any food that is self serve must be thrown away. We have all seen people pick food up with their hands even with a serving utensil available. Studies show that 60% of men do not wash their hands after using the restroom. This "cook" decides to go ahead and save the rolls because "they should be fine" apparently bread has some sort of mystical bacteria killing power?
So the unfortunate customers today are eating last nights dinner rolls from a self serve buffet. Yeah... Soooo not ever allowing them to send me back there.
Really poor experience in the clubhouse, pro shop and bar. Wow. Place looks ok considering construction but very uninviting. Better times at Coyote Ridge or other clubs. Not worth it here.
Terrible- all around. Food horrible, manager extremely rude and doesn't seem qualified to run a "restaurant". Seems like frozen food- disgusting.
Great food and some great servers & bartenders. $22 for the prime rib buffet - recommended and excellent. They no longer have happy hour . . . that is mostly a deal killer for us, but tap beer is $3. They had a Texas (Long Island) tea special that was fantastic for $4. Parties of 6 or more, tip is included so watch carefully, they have not been verbal in this regard.
