My daughter's wedding was October 25, 2014 at LQCC and I could not have asked for a better venue. From the moment we started planning, a year out, to the wedding, Tom and his staff were beyond helpful and professional. The facilities are beautiful and well kept. The staff, from the chef, to the GM, were all wonderful and made my job as Mother of the Bride, very easy. We were treated like family. The day of the wedding was organized and everyone raved about the food and staff. I would not hesitate to book another event at this resort.
We moved to the desert in 2013 and looked for a country club to join. La Quinta Country Club was the most welcoming with friendly staff and members. I've been a member at another country club in California for over 30 years but never felt as at home as I did the first time I walk into La Quinta Country Club. The facilities are beautiful and comfortable and the kitchen is amazing as are all the servers. If you are thinking of jointing a golf club in the Coachella Valley look at La Quinta Country Club, you won't regret it.

I look for venues where the personnel are willing to be extensions of my teams coordination efforts. Tom and his most capable staff make event planning easier.
Great venue, great staff!
We just had our destination wedding at the La Quinta Country Club. It is a beautiful space and a unique wedding venue.
Tom, the events manager, was a pleasure to work with. He is great at getting down the details and making the experience fun. Chef Brad was incredible as well. His creative menu delighted our guests. We had a tasting a few months ahead of time and he was flexible by taking my foodie fiancé's requests to heart.
They give you access to the entire top floor of the country club, which gives you more flexibility than other wedding venues. Their formal bar has a grand piano that we used during cocktail hour. Guests could sit inside or outside on the covered second story patio overlooking the mountain and golf course vista.
The top floor of the country club has a large room called the "La Quinta Room". We used that room all morning for the bride and bridesmaids' hair and makeup. Then we transformed it into a kids' room with a babysitter. Also a great space to store gifts and for use as a "staging room".
The pavilion reception space is cool because it has the feeling of being both indoors and outdoors. You are covered from the elements, but can still enjoy the stunning scenery.
Service was amazing at our reception. All of our guests were impressed with the courtesy and attention from the staff.
Plus, for the budget conscious brides out there...this isn't one of the more expensive locations. Site fee (as of summer 2013) was $2000 plus food, beverage, tax and service. Food options run from $60-$120 pp (including appetizers). Beware: bar is all or nothing. Meaning if you want any alcohol, you have to pay for an open bar ($30 pp). No cash bar option, which our guests appreciated! Venue also provides amenities you wouldn't expect like tea lights, up-lights, linens, and more!
A beautiful Club and views to go with it! The best location to have a wedding reception and the Eisenhower Ballroom is a stunning room to have any party.
Tom, the manager, is so great to work with and is very accommodating throughout the process of planning a wedding, it was very important because I live in a different town (I live in LA).
My guests loved the entire evening; the service, food, and drinks were all PERFECT. They were all very professional and even kid friendly too!
I couldn't be happier and am glad my husband and I selected this location to celebrate our "Big Day" with our friends and family.
