The Children's Course

This was a course that I enjoyed playing in my teens. Back then it was a Par 3 18 hole layout. It is now a 9 hole layout that is still enjoyable to play.

He would play this course again.

I would recommend for kids and beginners to play at Children's golf course.

Took my 7 year old golfing for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves.
I wasn't sure what to expect at a starters course. I wasn't sure if he would be able to get through it all or if he would be frustrated. The course lends itself to beginners better than expected. The fairways are straight, the greens are perfect for a starter, only limited sand traps which are placed out of the way a bit so rare to land in one. They are flatter than most traps so even if you land in one it is very achievable to get out on the first try.
The pace was good and it wasn't just kids there. In front of us was a group of 5 adults. Behind us was an older couple. Was a great experience. I'm looking forward to future rounds there.
Thank you!

He would play this course again.

I am not a golfer and know nothing about golf. This place showed up when I typed in 'children golf Portland' on Google and that's why we went. The entrance is kind of hard to find. My GPS didn't behave well and, had my kid not noticed the sign for 'kid golf', we'd have just passed it. It's behind an apartment complex off the road.
My kid was excited for being in a 'real' (not mini) golf course. Yes, as jahbless says, the place gives you a feeling that you're in someone's backyard (or actually on some empty land with grass and tree)
