Texas A&M University Golf Course

Playing on campus gives you a special added bonus.  It's a great feeling to play golf while hearing Aggies in Kyle Field yelling "Beat the Hell out of Vanterbilt, whoop!"  That alone is worth the visit to this golf course.   Since it just opened, they don't have alcohol just yet but are expected to get their license by mid November.

The course: 18 holes of newly re-developed holes that are bunker heavy.  Fairways are groomed nicely, the rough swallows balls if you don't keep an eye on your drive, and the greens roll fast.  Overall a great experience

The Staff:  Management was a bit strict about requiring a collared shirt and appropriate shorts/pants but is currently forgiving those of us who donned T-shirts.  Dress code starts in January 2014 so dress accordingly.  They also pulled the pins on us at 6:30pm way before it was actually too dark to play so that was annoying.

Overall, would return here again and again, with a collared shirt next time =)
