Awesome golf course. The caddies we had were nothing short of professional, knowledgeable and hustlers. The members I was introduced to couldn't have been nicer. Nothing stuffy about SRCC. It's 10 stars if I could rate it that.
Great parkland course, and immaculate conditions.
Caddies are great and well versed in the course.
Facilities are great for practice and dining.
Nice location as well
Sunset Ridge is your typical upscale country club. We have had our annual Xmas luncheon there the past two years. Normally, stuff like this isn't my cup of tea, but hey, the boss is generous to pick up the tab for an afternoon of drinks and a very yummy lunch. It's very nice in side, lots of dark wood like you'd expect at a country club.
Like you'd expect for the price, the food is awesome! Last year I had baked halibut. So light and flakey, it melted in my mouth like butter. This year I had a salmon filet with dill rice. Y U M ! ! ! ! ! All this accompanied by a Makers Mark manhattan, you can't beat it.
Someone always has a few too many drinks, so something usually happens that is embarrasing. This year, someone (who is a country bumpkin) had way too much to drink and got trashed and called one of the bus boys a...uhh...inappropriate racial slur. *Knock head on wall!* What an idiot!
Nice club with a better than average golf course. Held a few Western Opens there in the past.
