Very enjoyable and beautiful golf course ... Had a club atmosphere ... Not overly difficult ... Fall leaves and Manassa River make for stunning views. Greens recently aerated otherwise in outstanding shape. Staff very helpful !!

They would play this course again.

Beautiful course + Beautiful weather = Doesn't Get Much Better than This. Course played very hard yesterday because of the rock hard greens. Other than that, the course was fair and in some of the best shape I've seen in quite awhile. You will not be disappointed. Food in the clubhouse is excellent. All in all its hard to beat this place. My fav for the Northern Virginia area. The views of Lake Manassas on holes 14 & 15 are spectacular.

They would play this course again.

I play Stonewall once a week during the week and rarely is it crowded. The one thing I tell everyone who asks me about Stonewall is there are fairway bunkers on every hole. I wish the other golfers would rake the bunkers because rarely do I go a round without being in a few of them. The course is on the same lake as Robert Trent Jones. I love Stonewall even though it kicks my butt quite often. I would suggest joining the Patriot Club for the reduce greens fees and getting starting times.

They would play this course again.

I recently played this course for the first time after living in the area for nearly 4 years. I hadn't played it because compared to the other courses in the area it charges a lot more. The overall condition of the course is pretty good, it's about what you would expect for an upscale public course. The one thing I would stress is don't be fooled by the pictures on the website, there are only a few holes on the water, most of the course is within a housing development so instead a tree lined course you're playing a house lined course.

Based on other courses I have played in the area this one probably charges about $25 too much for a round of golf. But hey if people are willing to pay it (which they obviously are) then charge $100+.

One of the other reviews compares this place to RTJ..........the guys that wrote that review most work at Stonewall.

They would not play this course again.
