Layout is great. Mixture of risk and reward off of the tee. Lake Manassas comes into play and view on a number of holes. Tee boxes and sand traps were in very good shape. Smooth quick greens. Over 7000 yards from the tips, which is difficult to find for a public course. Not worth $100 for a round. Recommend playing when theie twilight rate is in effect.

They would play this course again.

Played Stonewall on a Saturday in the 3 pm hour as a single. Cruised through the course no problem, and even caught a foursome on 18 that teed off at may 1:30 pm or later.

Stonewall is a fair course, and it's very very pretty. I paid $69 to play, but some of the rounds cost upwards of $100. I would not pay that much to play this course (or many courses). Stonewall is challenged by heavy play. As a semi-private course, there is a ton of play from folks who aren't invested in the course, and do not repair divots or ball marks. It was very frustrating to see such a nice course with so many empty divots and unfixed ball marks. In order to go from good to great, the course needs to get this under control.

Also, carts have GPS, but were wrong on the par 3s. Found out the hard way twice.

They would play this course again.

Booked this tee time through GolfNow Hot Deals and it was an excellent rate. It was hands down the slowest 12 holes of golf I've ever played. There was some tournament a couple groups ahead that was the issue. The group in front of us quit after 3 holes and went to the clubhouse to be refunded their money. We ended up continuing at a mind numbing pace. We ended up getting through 12 holes in 3 hours 20 minutes before giving up. The only silver lining is Stonewall did refund our money. The course is in decent condition but this is the worst I've seen the greens in the handful of times I have played it. I appreciate getting my money refunded but allowing groups to play 6 hour rounds is unacceptable. That is a main reason why people are losing interest in golf. The ranger and staff need to stay on slow groups and force them to keep up the pace of play.

They would not play this course again.

Where is the Marshall at a course charging $$$? Where is the Marshall when 11, that's right 11,people are teeing off at the same time? We had planned and been looking forward to playing here for weeks, but both agreed it was one of the worst rounds played. The started informed us of a foursome in front of us, and that they were told we could play thru. The foursome was actually a group of 11 that we waited on from the first tee box to the last. The course is nice but not perfect. Of the three courses played, I would say Bull Run and Bristow Manor are in better shape at half or a third the price.

They would not play this course again.

Wonderful experience. The course could use some attention on the greens and bunkers which are NOT worth the price. Otherwise EXCELLENT
