So to respond to the other review, you were late. Is that...1. Your fault or 2. The Courses fault? Most of the time I've ran into this situation being an outstanding human being will net you a chance to play. My guess is you treated the attendant like it was your rite to show up late and still get to play. When you book these rounds online, you better pay close attention to the details. If you're, say playing on a course where everyone else is paying 40.00 and you paid ten, it would behoove you to follow the letter of the contract. Courses don't get real excited to collect your money when they have customers that are paying full rate. I know, I know they advertise these rates. That doesn't mean that they like it when a foursome pays 40.00 when the group ahead and behind have forked out 120 for their rounds. Not that this course could ever charge rates like that. Ten bucks is probably too much here. So I guess my question is, were you an ass when YOU showed up late and demanded to play? My guess is yes. A
Golf course is a Customer Service venue. If someone doesn't act like an ass then more then likely you'll be treated right. If you act like an ass, especially with the owner of said course, you ain't playing. Not without paying full green fees.

He would play this course again.

I showed up 2 minutes after my tee time and he wouldn't honor it and was extremely rude about it!

He would not play this course again.

If you are looking for a nice golf course, keep looking. If you are looking to take your kids out for their first round you have found the place.

First off, you will do better by looking at the green and guessing the distance then you will by going by the scorecard. Some of the holes are longer then stated, some much shorter. One hole says it's 250 yards and I can get their with a flushed 8 iron (can only hit it about 180). Another hole says 230 (IIRC) and has about a 220 carry over water, not a great hole for the beginners which would be the only reason I'd play here. Another hole has a fairly busy state route running along it's left side, a fairly scary proposition for a beginner. Make sure they don't hit until there are no cars going by otherwise you may be buying someone a new windshield or worse.

The greens are very small and elevated making them almost impossible for a beginner to hold them. There is no "short cut" or fairway which isn't really needed on a par 3, but since many greens are only 30'x30' or so it makes it tough.

All in all, if you are looking to introduce a youngster to the game, this isn't a bad place to play. If you are an experienced golfer you will be very disappointed to play here. It's been many years since I was here though so take that for what it's worth.

He would not play this course again.
