This course has seen better days. It used to be something, but now it's not even worth the drive up from the Albany area. Slow pace of play, fair conditions at best, and steep summer prices all contribute to the sad state of affairs.\
At one point during our round we had an 8 some playing together ahead of us, and a 6 some behind us. 4 hours pace of play? More like 5.
On the positive, it's wide open, well maintained, and affordable for NY residents. On the negative, gets kind of boring. Few dog legs, no water on the back 9, and traps are a big issue. Greens are challenging and big, which makes up for the long, open fairways with little variation.
