Of course a country club that's an exclusive one such as the SACC will get a 5 star rating.
The driving range has plenty of space for lots of people. I only use it to warm up before a round. Buckets of balls always full and waiting for me to slice and hook them all over the place. Nearby is a pit and rough for some chipping. All the way around the corner is a very nice putting green for practice.
Only 18 holes on this challenging course and it's very walkable.
Other activities they have here are fishing in the course lakes, wine tasting events (THE BEST), and they even host weddings (my older brother got married here and the ceremony was perfect and beautiful).
Overall, a very classy place and one that I'm honored to be able to set foot in.
Old school course, old school club. Not much of a driving range but one of the largest, well-maintained practice greens around. I do think they could run the greens faster but the members seem to like them at the pace they are kept. The course is pretty straighforward yet still challenging. You could shoot a good number here your first time out. The course is very walkable. 18 is a great finishing hole, 2 good shots will get you home in two, but both of those shots need to be really solid as the hole is guarded by water on the left from the tee and on the left as one hits an approach to the green. I don't foresee too many non-scratch players reaching in two on 18. The course isn't short but it doesn't play very long either by modern standards.
This review is for dinner services at the club. The staff must be very well trained because they are always very accommodating and friendly. The dinners that I've had at the club are always delicious, from the starter to dessert. Drink service is always quick and made very well.
The staff at the club is also very curteous. The grounds are well maintained and the interior is well done. Parking is plentiful and valet is always prompt.
