Had the privelege to play yesterday with a memmber. Course was in good condition and can be a bit challenging in that it is fairly "compact" with mature trees, water hazards, etc but fun to play. Classic "old school" mens locker room, grill room, and card room with attentive service. Convenient location (NW side of Chicago).
Known as "a bar with a really nice backyard."
The course is good, Ben Hogan won the Faux-"US Open" here during WWII. Still holds the course record there at 63 I think.
This country club is mostly known for it's golf course. It borders Harwood Heights. I am personally not a member here, but I visited this club once. It's grounds are beautiful and incredibly well kept.
