I've played this course amongst many others for quite a bit now and I'm completely done.
Pricing is comparable
Staff is courteous
Greens are moderate
You're always rushed or waiting
Fairway/T-box lawn Mx is needed
Leafs/feathers are in abundance, losing balls is a course requirement it seems like.
Marshalls are a bit grouchy
Don't let my review deter you, if you want or like this course speak up. But when comparing this course to The Greens at north hills, Burns Park or Country Club; it's sub-par...
He would not play this course again.
Awesome public course!!!! Occasionally their computers are down and only accept cash, so better be prepared to have at least 35 bucks cash if you want to hit a few of the five dollar baskets at their range. Twilight prices at 26 bucks for everyone after 2 or 3pm. Pretty sweet deal!!!
SO I golfed my first game today..18 holes at Rebsamen,an18 hole champion golf course in Little Rock. I think we covered the estimated 7,033 yds of greens though we used golf carts. My son's friends who we went with mentioned it had been closed for a few months so they could replace the Champion Ultra grass with Ultra Dwarf Greens. Hell, it didn't matter to me, I was playing golf!!
The weekday prices are around $32 per person and weekends are $38.
If you are a senior you pay $29 but I think the best deal is their $20 special which happens after 2 p.m.
The course has a Pro Shop, Mulligans cafe, a driving range, practice putting green, and moderate water/sand trap hazards. They even have an executive 9 hole course for $20.
I usd my friend's set of spare clubs and whacked my way around the course, coming in with a 166. The course is an average par 72. I would have to agree that #'s 4, 10 and 11 are the most difficult though I had problems with others. Hey! it was my first time! Think my friends were in the low 130's.
Beautiful course alongside the Arkansas River with the reddish bluffs in the background. Highly recommend coming here. It's open to the public and you must call to schedule a tee time!
