Went for brunch and well worth the money. Great selection of food which was fresh and kept warm. Service was wonderful and we were seated by a window with a great view. Will definitely go back
While the menu in the dining room has changed frequently over the years, there is one appetizer offering that has not. The P. F. calamari is truly a gem. It ranks numero uno among the many I have sampled all over the planet. The fresh and meaty strips are very lightly breaded and fried and then smothered with the Fields' special sauce loaded up with bits of red onions and tasty capers. A classic at its very best!.
Very good food!! Came here for a special surgery conference/luncheon last Friday. Loved the healthy selection of different salads, wraps, tomato vegetable/spinach soup and brownie like dessert with fresh fruit. The ballroom wallpaper, however, may need some changing up before I would consider having my wedding here....jk! But very nice place to host an event.
Sunday brunch was delicious. The variety was abundant and always hot and fresh. But the service was HORRIBLE. There were more servers than customers, and yet I was waiting 15 mins for a water refresh and coffee top-off. The biggest crime was ordering cocktails and watching the ice melt as it was sitting on the bar for 10-15 mins at a time. I would have given the restaurant better ratings if my cocktail service was prompt. And the kicker: they charge 30% service fee on top of the bill. I guess that is why the servers feel they can slack on their job.
I was only here to vote, but while waiting in line flipped through the wedding books and got a good look at the place. It seems really dated and cramped. I wouldn't want to have a wedding here, or any type of event. Everything looks very dull and muted, even the fake flowers look wilted (and are brown). Not my cup of tea.
