When looking for a wedding venue, I toured the Trump and what an awful experience. The woman was rude and very bossy. When I asked if all the desserts could be peanut free because I have many family members allergic to them. I was told to give my
guest fruit! 150 dollars a plate and I have to tell many members of my family to stay away from the food because she's to lazy to not use peanut products, when everything is made "on site."
Secondly, when I asked about a private cocktail hour for the wedding party, it seemed to be a problem!
I was also told to bring in a cooler with food and drinks for myself and the groom because they will not be able to bring us food during the cocktail hour.
What am I paying you for if you can't even feed me. Over all the location is
beautiful and I would have loved to get married there but the wedding sales woman/wedding event manger was awful. I could not stand being with her for an hour, I can't imagine working with her for a year and all day on my wedding day.
Attended a wedding here and while it was a beautiful place I wasn't impressed with the service or food.
Had a sit down dinner here with about 50 other guests last week. We began with cocktail hour and munched on upscale pigs in blankets, beef flatbread, cheese and more! I was very impressed by the quality of the snacks and then later on, the quality of the food.
For my entree, I picked the spinach stuffed chicken in a cream sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had just enough flavor. Dessert was basic cheesecake, which was a good size portion and very rich.
The view is what I truly loved about this place - hard to believe I was in South Jersey.
Really pretty location on top of a hill with really nice views. I also heard that the food there was good. I was there for a dance event and did not stay to have dinner, but will make it a point to have food there next time I'm there!
The course and clubhouse are now strictly private :( This was one of my favorite places in NJ for summer happy hours. The clubhouse over looked the 18th hole and had a great hill top view of Philadelphia. The food was also just as delicious as the view. I often frequented brunch here as well. This little hometown gem will be missed...maybe my sugar daddy will buy me a membership!
