I really have to wonder if the previous two reviews are written by people that work there. This course is beyond terrible. The tees are worn out mats, the fairways are mostly burned out grass with lots of dirt in between, the greens are lumpy, the clubhouse (office) looks like a storage room and the driving range is a large field of dirt. Even though the prices are good, it is not worth the frustration of playing the course.
Considering that this course was shut down for a while & it's currently under new management, this place shows explosive potential. They're obviously working on a shoestring budget and with minimal equipment, but hey that's the nature of small business.
I think the new owner has good intensions. So in the mean time I going keep taking advantage of the cheap greens fees. Where else can you play "unlimited" numbers of rounds of golf for less than 10 bucks? Or where else can you get an "unlimited" bucket of driving range balls for less than 10 buck?
Sure the the greens still need some work, but they're getting better. After all, this is a great place for practice rounds or just sharpening your skills. I don't merely see this place for what it is, but for what it's becoming.
The reason that this course gets 5 stars from me is because I like the direction it is going. The course was shut down for 2 months and in the 8 weeks the course became way out of control. I met the new owner and his hard work is paying off. The course has dramatically became better than it was. It takes a lot of work to get a course to tip top shape. They're having a community day on the 28th of June so you can partake in making this course great. Bring a shovel and other tools so you too can help. Also they changed their number I will add it as soon as I get it.
So I went there today and the corse was terrible. But hopefully it gets improved within the months.
this place has so much potential. The care taker sucks the green are lumpy, not taken care. Need to clean up and mowe the place.
