Amazing course, and so cool to play it with the PGA grandstands and other apparati still lining the course. The clubhouse is also beautiful and the staff here are so very nice. It's not cheap, but worth every penny to play in the same spot as Tiger did on TV just days prior.
One of a handful of World Class facilities in Greater Rochester and like most of the others, George Eastman is largely to thank. The two courses were designed and redesigned by some of the most renown golf course designers in history. This club has hosted many major golf tournaments. Membership at the club is extremely expensive and the members are a who's who in town and beyond.
Been here many times for business diners and lunches, networking events and special occasions - always great food. Never a complaint. Clean, good service and great decor.
I only golfed the course once and it was certainly an amazing experience. I have also been there when they have hosted PGA/LPGA tournaments and they always seem to have full control of the crowds and accommodations/concessions.
Oak Hill is all gorgeousness of a country club. The building is fabulous old school Duane Lyman-esque architecture (don't know if it actually is). Tons of stone, wood, understated beauty, everything you want in a country club.
I've been here for a couple of events, and for the Senior PGA. The Senior PGA was very well-run and coordinated. I particularly loved our hospitality tent where the bloody marys and beer was flowing. The food at the S.PGA wasn't so hot, but it's been a-ok at other events for country club food.
