Norton Country Club

Played here today, 9/3. Course was being aerated so it was in rough shape. Not holding that against the course, it's a decent course for the price. It is one of the more difficult courses in the area, but short. Everyone we interacted with was nice.

Where this course really suffers is practice facilities and maintenance during the day. They have two nets behind the cart shed that you can hit balls. For a country club I would expect a hitting range. Also the day maintenance including mowing during the day is distracting. Several times we had to wait on the tee for the mower to finish, and once they ran over one of our balls.

Weekday deal of $49 including cart and lunch is hard to beat, but with the quality of courses in the vicinity it's a skip if you're looking for a championship style course. If you're looking for a good weekday deal and a difficult course, but no facilities, check this course out.

We had a truly wonderful experience for my daughter's wedding and reception...everything was perfect.  Darlene and her staff could not have been nicer.  I would choose the country club again in a heartbeat.

Very well kept course.  I enjoyed the layout which offers a few very interesting golf shots.  The course is challenging and I will definitely play here again.
