Mill Woods Golf Course

Enjoyed this course. It's reasonably priced, in good shape and challenging for mid to high handicappers.i would go back with a few buddies for beers and laughs. Also a good golf date course.

I really enjoy the Mill Woods golf course.  Every year I buy a driving range pass because it's a convenient place to stop on my way home from work to bang off a bucket of balls.  Even if you don't buy a pass, a bucket is only about $9, so it's a reasonable deal.
The course itself is not the best in Edmonton, but they have a great online booking system, it's relatively easy to get a tee time even on long weekends.  I find the course to be pretty well maintained for a public course.  The only reason it's not 5 stars really is that it's not overly challenging.  There are a lot of long flat holes with average greens.  So if you're looking for a good round of easy golf, I recommend checking this course out.

Well I have to praise one of two golf courses where I got a hole in one right? The holes are long and have nice curves to them. Its not an easy course but not the hardest either. I have an issue with the Golf Warden, like why are they really there. I have been to weddings here, hall is great, large. The food was good. During the winter time you can taboggan down the hill can get some serious speed. We use to make huge ramps on the end of the hill and catch some real air. Its usually not to tough to get in on some holes. There are 2-3 water traps. I prefer the front 9 to back 9 but I will be back.

I haven't ever played the holes at Mill Woods Golf course so I won't really be commenting on that. I have heard its decent though.

I have gone to the driving range here a couple of times and it was pretty good. It wasn't too busy but sometimes you won't be able to find a spot, especially on a nice day. A driving range bucket is $7 which isn't bad at all. I believe its open 11am-7pm through out the week, weather permitting.

They also offer lessons privately and for goups. If you want to get into the game I suggest you take some lessons. It will help you move along quickly.

It's a pretty busy golf course so you will have to book a tee time in advance but dropping in at the driving range is fun too.
