Memorial Park Golf Course

  22 Reviews

We Enjoyed our round at Memorial Park GC very much. It had poured earlier, but was not sloppy at all. The staff here were very helpful and friendly. Food was above average and was waiting for us at the turn. Top notch facility, and would enjoy playing here every time we come to houston. Very affordable as well.... This place is a premium course, at a very fair price...A+ Thanks!

They would play this course again.

After all these years -- and a 1995 renovation -- Memorial Park is still a great test. Once home to the Houston Open, it now stages the city amateurs. Best of all, it's located right in the center of town, surrounded by jogging trails, tennis courts and ball fields. Still less than $50 to play, it's also one of the few walkable courses in Houston. As for the layout itself, plenty of great holes, including the dogleg left ninth that plays over a hazard and the 613-yard par-5 16th.

They would play this course again.

I'm a weekend golfer and love to try new courses. I first went on and checked the reviews and saw so many compliments and about the course and so much negatives left about the starter and Marshalls ... Said to my self it can't be that bad so let's give it a try .... I was wrong ,... Right off the bat they pressure you to tee off ( very rude and in a disrespectful way ) and from then on it seems like every hole they are waiting to say something... And I know course etiquette and I don't walk or play slow... I guess because it so over packed and the minute you have to find a ball.... They are yelling from the carts ( hurry up , hurry up ) ... Liked the course but did not like the Marshall's and the way the have it set up to play..... Very very rude and just down right ugly attitudes !!!!!

Decent driving range.  It's a great place to fine tune whatever you need to work on.  I like the canopy since it provides an adequate amount of shade.  We all know what it's like to hit a few balls out in the hot scorching sun.

Expect a long wait during rush hour, especially on the weekends.  Some people are quicker than others.  The average wait time runs between 30 minutes to an hour.

A bucket of balls will cost you $8.
