This course has changed through the years.
I moved to Boston for awhile, and when I came back, I found that the course had grown an infestation of condos and tract homes. The course has changed from it's original layout, and is now a little less forgiving. Hole #6 on the front nine puts you almost directly into someone's front yard. Like most economy golf courses in WV, there isn't much separation between holes, and it feels a little open.
Otherwise, it is maintained fairly well. I usually make it out there every few weeks during the summer. Wouldn't pay to be a member, though.
Great course and super friendly staff. I always try to get in a round when I come into town for WVU football games.
Horrible condition..... Don't play till its fixed. You are almost better off to go and play in the dirt.
