The baked onion soup was among the best I have ever had. After the soup I got the grilled meat loaf sandwich which was very good. My wife had the turkey burger along with the vegetable soup and loved them. The wine and scotch were reasonably priced and the wines were good. (if you order Glenfidich scotch it is never a question of good--it is always excellent---just a matter of cost.) They are famous for their pizza and next time that's what I will get. Yes, there will be a next time. Wanda, our server did a great job.

The decor is on purpose, duh it's cottage style, and meaty pizza is the guy's choice here.

The decor is hideous. Everything is a pastel mint green with tacky carpet and nicknacks. Makes you want to vomit the moment you walk in....

Service was incredibly slow. It was a pretty slow Friday night and we showed up about 7:30. It took over an hour for three salads and two kids spaghettis.  The best part of the meal was the dinner rolls.

The salads all say they have mixed greens, but all came with iceberg. The Tempura Chicken Thai Salad was edible, but it was normal batter fried chicken nuggets on top.

The pizza looked good. Maybe I'll try that next time...

Personally I'd rather take my chances at Sumter Landing.

They just can not get it right here. People are ready for a GOOD restaurant and Mallory is failing them. Oh, something's can be good- but overall, they leave a lot to be desired. I had the Taco salad - actually, pretty good but how do you mess up a taco salad? By short changing on the shell ( wimpy and small). Wife had a grilled fish (does not matter which) and it was HEAVILY COATED WITH SALT!!!! Made it inedible. When waitress was told, we got a response like "sorry about that"!!! Guess we will keep trying it once a year hoping for the best.
Note: this type of response from us has been consistent for almost 8 years - they are always missing the boat in finding a niche in The Villages.  People local to them will always claim it is great but it is certainly not good enough to travel ANY distance for lunch or dinner.

Had the all you can eat fried tilapia they offer on their Friday night special. It was delicious. Very busy place.
