Great venue for a private events; such as a wedding. There's ample parking and the location is quiet and peaceful. There's also valet - at least when I attended a wedding there. I would give it 5 stars but only if there were actual staff available there who were much more helpful than the experience I received. It seems as though the staff there is only knowledgeable of the kitchen/food and not the facilities or knowledge of who is in charge when it comes to a wedding or special event etc. Overall, clean venue, large private room for bridal party, the banquet itself is large and has a nice layout in addition to a beautiful balcony view of the golf course. Just watch your head in case a golfer is making a practice swing! Oh and the Bartenders there were pretty fantastic. The well drinks were so-so, OK it was below par but the service provided and accommodation were great! Worth a look if you're planning an event!
First of all, I'm not really sure where all of the negative reviews are coming from. Venue hunting in general is stressful and tedious especially for a special event such as weddings. Mom and I visited over 30 venues in Orange County and even in the Long Beach Area. The GORGEOUS venues were FAR out of our budget and the affordable ones were beat up and not worth booking as those venues required a face-lift: awful odor, carpet rippling or torn, etc.,.
Somehow my husband (fiancé then) found this potential venue online so I called the next day inquiring and Selena and Sharen assured me that they'd work with my budget. Unlike all of the other event/catering coordinators Selena and Sharen were true to their word!
Overall, Sharen, Selina and Stephanie were great throughout the wedding planning process. We only had one hiccup and that was due to a miscommunication of the satin linens being considered as an "add-on" rather than them being already included in the estimated provided. Other than that, no problems. It was simply me having a bridezilla moment over linens. Oops, it happens to most of us, right?! :P
The day of our wedding our (80) guests were in LOVE with the venue: the ceremony took place on the terrance and reception in the grand ballroom. We selected the chicken marsala entree and the raspberry and walnut salad for the plated dinner service. Coconut shrimp with mango dipping sauce, shaved prime rib, and chicken pop-stickers for our appetizers during cocktail hour. We managed to contribute a reasonable amount towards the bar for drinks too!
This venue was affordable and after "dressing it up" with flowers and wedding decor it was a beautiful place. Friends and Family truly thought we spent thousands and thousands of dollars but we didn't, yay!
Hearing endless compliments from our guest of our simple yet elegant wedding makes us proud to have chosen LCCC! Strongly recommend LCCC, hands down.
We used to be members. The club is currently looking to build 125 condos and tear out the tennis courts.
Unfortunately, membership is geared towards the Korean clientele.
Ive witnessed in the locker room, shaving in the sauna, and not wearing bathing suits in the jacuzzi. Gross!
I would come back if the club would bring in younger and hipper members.
My husband and I just got married here a few weeks ago, and it was beautiful! There were a couple hiccups along the way that we're still a little concerned with (the fire alarm going off in the middle of our reception for example), but overall it was a great experience. Our vendors loved the venue and when my husband and I were looking for our vendors when we first got engaged, every vendor we spoke to had nothing but wonderful things to say about Los Coyotes. As part of our package, my husband got to golf for free with 3 of his friends and they all had a great time. They said it was really nice and that if they could afford it, they'd become members in a heartbeat. Overall, a great experience, but I would recommend coordinating with the venue VERY thoroughly because there were a few pretty big things that happened that shouldn't have.
Green is pretty fast and very well maintained as well as the fringe and tee box. Most of the fairway is in good shape considering the drought we're in.
Carts are nice, and there are free tees at the first tee box for 2 out of the 3 courses.
Played all 27 holes in one day and I enjoyed the Lakes course the most. It was the most beautiful IMHO. They have different membership options and a lot of Koreans playing all day everyday...
