I have been to several parties and eaten at Ledgemont Country Club as a guest of a member. Tonight I went here for their Passover Seder, again as a guest and was again impressed.

Each time I have visited I have found the food and the service to be excellent (even the Passover desserts!) and the bartenders don't skimp when pouring.

I have heard that the golf course is one of the most challengingly and best kept in the area. The club is spotless...and they have great bathrooms which is always a plus!

Absolutely beautiful place for a wedding. The clubhouse and grounds are beautiful. The food is excellent and way above traditional wedding food. The golf course is also known to be the best in the area.

Well I went to a wedding there recently and found it one of those pretentious poncy places that need to do better. For starters there was NO easy wheel chair access that we could see. Second, the food was absolute garbage, brown carrots and a veggie meal that tasted like cardboard. Prime rib was OK, but looked very GREY - NEVER in my 55 years have I seen a prime rib like it. Y'all need to hire a chef. These comments were made by a lot of people we talked to at this wedding and others. Servers came around with food but not wine - why? Main dining area partitioned off when folks were herded in. Glad I wont be going back.

I went to a wedding here over the weekend and it was excellent.

The grounds are beautiful, well kept, manicured - what you would expect at a golf club.  The bartenders were excellent, making one of the best Manhattans mixed with Southern Comfort I've ever had - it was also Sunny von Bulow's favorite drink, according to Truman Capote.  

Weather permitting, the balcony overlooking the fairway is a great place to hang out with your drinks.  The appetizers were great: empanadas, scallops, scallops with bacon, etc.

I had the surf and turf for dinner.  The wait staff comes round to the table and there are menus printed up and they ask you what you want.  The stuffed lobster tail was excellent, very interesting the way they had it done.  The steak was rare, cooked nicely, not typical of wedding food.  

Very classy, elegant - unless you're looking for something else.
