I've played here many times with friends that don't play often and it's good for beginners and a very relaxed "weekend warrior" type round. The price is reasonable. My only real complaint is the course condition itself was terrible. The sand traps actually were full of weeds and rocks, the fairways were in worse condition than most roughs I've played in, and some of the greens had large sand spots and actual ant-hills on them. It's a REAL shame they can't fix it up, because the natural marshland and forestry surrounding the course is gorgeous. I've encountered ducks, deer, geese, swans, and even flocks of sandhill cranes within 50 feet of me. The natural waterways here make it quite pretty. If this course were in decent condition it would be one of my favs.
Not real happy with this place.
The last two trips were a waste of time. My buddy and I were turned away both times.
The first excuse was they ran out of golf balls. This has to be the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard from a golf course club house.
The second time, a week later, I decided to call their club house in advance. My obvious intention was to prevent a wasted trip. I called several times, but the phone continued to ring. We decided to check it out anyway. We arrived to find out the range is closed for a private party.
This club house has to do a better job with their customer service.
I absolutely dread going back, it's always something new. Very frustrating. -BA
