I really liked the course. It was in great shape although they are doing some work on several holes. Condition was very good and the greens rolled true.
Great course. I played here last week and i thought it was very well maintained. They told me that my ball was gonna go 10% farther in the high denver altitude but i didnt see it (shucks!). I will give this course 5 stars just because there were no bugs and nats flying around getting in my way (i hate that). I was disappointed however when the Lithuanian cart girl didn't know who Sarunus Jasikevicius was. She was really helpful though!
I was here for the 'Hedge Funds Scare' Charity Golf Tournament. Oh wait, I meant 'Hedge Funds Care'. No really, they do.
Great course overall. Challenging greens, well manicured, frequent water coolers along the way for fill-up, and for me it was all free (which probably influences my rating a bit). To be fair to my readers, I'm still a pretty crappy golfer, since this is my first year giving a real go of it. So if that detracts from the value you get out of this review, then stop being an elitist!
The course backs up right against the Inverness Hotel & Spa, in the middle of Greenwood Village. I can't say much about the pro-shop, but it seemed well equipped.
The carts they have were quiet gliding and had automatic parking brakes. Unfortunately, there was no GPS on the carts, and no cleat brush, or club/ball cleaning accessories. It did have a cooler filled with ice though.
Also, a good selection of beer, booze, and food from the course cart attendees, and all more reasonably priced than I would have expected.
First to review. My bid-ness is done here.
