What a difference a 14 months makes!! Kudos to the greenskeeper for miraculously bringing the course back to life. The. Course was in fine condition with the greens rolling fast and true. All the crabgrass in the fairways and tee boxes is gone, repairs have been made. I'm shocked at the transformation with efforts now being made to right past neglect.
This little gem of a golf course is run down by the present management company that failed in its attempts to build a baseball training facility on site. The layout is ok playing from the blue tees is a test of your skills. While the layout is good with each hole having a different look, the conditions have gone down hill fast. Conditions are fair at best with greens better than the rest of the course. Many fairways have bare spots or mud caused by poor irrigation. Weeds are everywhere and crabgrass is taking over the tees and fairways. Bridges are falling into disrepair and the womans tees have been located into the fairways to cut maintenance. There are many other flaws too numerous to list. It is sad because the course was nice not too long ago. I sincerely hope management sees this review and smells the coffee, or Indian Meadows is doomed.
A short 9 hole course off Route 9. $20 for the first 9, and $10 for the second. It's a decent price for a solid course. The rating/slope from the white tees is 69.4/119, but it can be a course where if you don't hit a lot of fairways you'll be down quite a few balls at the end of the day. I've played here a few times and it's never been busy. People have been friendly and courteous. The course is maintained fairly well, with the greens being in decent shape and the fairways being green and healthy.
