It's a great place to play 9 holes, beautiful old trees, well maintained and a favorite for locals.
Nice throwback public golf course. Always run into nice people when golfing there and the club house has a friendly Aussie dog that likes people. Nice old course with some good challenges here and there but not too hard and people at all different skill levels so don't get in a hurry, just enjoy your time!
Hidden Valley is more of your flat, up and back type courses. It isn't really that difficult since most of what you will be shooting for is pretty straight. There are trees lining the fairways, but for the most part, it's just to make divide the holes coming back on either side. It's not too long either. I would say that it's a good place for beginners.
Make sure to map it out. It's just a bit off the beaten path of I-5.
It has great greens, manicured fairways, and lots of trees. It is incorrectly identified as a par 34 it is actually a full size par 35
