I had my wedding here and it was amazing. My family members are still telling me what a great time they had. They have amazing prices that affordable and the staff is the best. Kathy was the coordinator there that I worked with and she didn't miss a beat. She made having a wedding so easy. I was from out of town and she provided me with a list of vendors that all worked out perfect and already knew their way around the venue.
There was plenty of space to dance, lots of space to eat and drink, the ceremony was just as perfect. They have the best features for photos. The food was amazing and I figured all food at weddings was horrible but I was wrong. This place had delicious food. If I am in the area for any other events I plan to use them again.
Thank you Hidden Valley Country Club for making my wedding a night to remember.
For around $350, I reserved the large, beautiful, classy ballroom for my grandmother's 90th surprise party. That fed 20 people, and they let us bring our own desserts, cookies and decorations. We were welcomed with amazing customer service, Kathy Frank and our server Kate made it so easy and accommodated our group better than any other place offered.
The ballroom was a huge space, totally exclusive to us with a gorgeous golf course view! Also, we were not bothered by any staff or country club members during our event, only our server gracefully assisted us. If I have another large event, it will be planned here again!
Kathy, the event planner, took my reservation and was more than happy to change plans within the week of the event and remained patient with my group's special needs.
back in Mad Men days this was the hip country club for old $chool Reno... and for decades you'd see the swaggering stock broker with some Jack Daniels in his cart...
it keeps it's 1950s-1960 Bewitched era feel on the outside, but unfortunately it screwed the decor over in the 1980s and they need to fix that... they even got rid of the real fireplace in the main hall...umm why?
and they got rid of the men's only grill in the men's locker room... why?... why do women want to make sure they can eat with the men but not vice versa?...
as a kid i walked and talked on the course with Lee Trevino, Arnold Palmer, and Jack Nicholas... we all could...
the membership prices on this country club have crashed the past decade as money moved south of town to Montreaux... it's a deal
