This course is fantastic. You've got the beautiful rolling hills, stunning views of the SB valley, super friendly crew(Mark is the best:) and ridiculously affordable rates.
Definitely my favorite 9 hole course that I've ever played at.
Even if I'm just stopping in for an hour or so to practice my chipping and putting, this is the ideal spot for both.
I love how it feels like a home away from home, not stuffy or pretentious at all.
If you have any interest in golf, give this place a swing;)
How hard can a par 27 nine hole course be? If you can hit through a corridor 20' wide at 60', Hidden Oaks isn't tough. But with strategic placement of trees and use of slopes, this little course can be diabolical. There is a lot of up and down, and the rough in many places is jungle- say goodbye to that ball if you hit it into foot-deep ivy along hole # 6. It's frustrating, but that's golf. Bring an extra sleeve of balls. Everyone from duffer to scratch player can enjoy this little gem.
Very much A-OK!
For 30 bucks this place is a blast. The course seems to have recovered from last summer pretty well. It's a fun course to play and will keep you on your toes. It will also make you feel like a giant. Better players should be dancing from the tee box on one or two par fours. Moi, non.
If you're in the area you might as well check out MSRC in Cresson. It's down the road, and probably is the area's best road racing tracks.
LOVE This tiny course..... This is a perfect course to really tighten up your short game. Its laid out intertwined with many oak trees, and the course winds its way through lots of elevation changes.
It really is a cool little course, perfect for a first timer, but still challenging enough for almost anyone. Very relaxing and beautiful!
Love this little course! and got my very first hole in one on hole #7
