Played 9 holes with 3 ppl here today with a scheduled T time. Showed up and was overcharged what the daily rate was advertised on their own website.
When I asked the kid at the register about the price he just said that was the price. I pulled up their website on my phone and showed him the page. He said "oh, today is a holiday." I then showed him their website shows the Holiday rate is advertised w/cart for $28/per person.
We were charged $31 pp. anyways. I asked for the manager and the kid behind the register shrugged saying he was just here but was gone now. Didn't go get the manager or anything. Just stood there. I found the manager myself by looking in the office 10 ft away and explained the situation. I showed him the price on their website. He simply said "it's wrong". I asked if they would honor the advertised price
Instead of apologizing for the mix up, I got a rude look like are you serious and was talked to like I was out of line for even asking them to honor the advertised price. The owner basically threw the $9 cash overcharge back at me with disdain and a sarcastic remark of "sure here's your $9."
Fix your website and don't act like it is a paying customers fault for expecting to pay the advertised price.
As for the other staff, we asked to purchase a bottle of water three times while paying. Did we get it? Nope.
Overall the course was good. Lots of elevation and was in good condition.
Would we return? No. Treat your customers with respect and appreciation. My money will go to places that have common courtesy and respect for the customers who choose to visit their establishments. Such a shame to start your day of golfing with poor customer service from the owner of the establishment.
The course is in great shape and notoriously tough. If you aren't a straight shooter, bring an extra sleeve of balls. That said, worth your trip. There is a great pro shop and the restaurant is really great. Come early and order the pepperoni roll. The 12+" pepperoni roll. It takes about 30 min to make, but it is worth it.
My husband and I played here in the spring of 2010 and the course was well maintained. I wouldn't call this course challenging, but it was a lot of fun. We would definatley go back.
We didn't try any ot their meal offerings so I can't comment on the quality of the clubhouse service.
Course was wet..maybe it will stop raining one of these days..but in OK shape. This course can be hard if you are not hitting it fairly straight off the tee...on quite a few holes. Lots of elevation changes and tough par 3's.
Not bad, under new ownership and improving. Played a scramble here this weekend. Course is in good shape, par-3's are the hardest I have played. Lots of elevation changes. Not sure what the daily rates are since i played for Charity. Good location for hosting an event, they have a banquet hall and the food was good.
