I've played this course 2 times and each time I've said I won't go back. The lure of free golf was too much to pass up the second time. There is no distinction between rough and fairway; it's all mowed the same. There are random piles of junk around the course and the greens penalize you for hitting good shots. For the money, Pin Oak CC on the other side of town is a much better option. Staff and greens keepers are friendly as were the folks in the clubhouse. I think you can play 18 for around $15 and cart rental is another $22. It wouldn't be too bad to walk and there were several people walking it on the day I was there.
Not a bad golf course. Nine holes with a few trees and a creek running through. Could be better maintained but not bad for a small family owned course. At least they have a driving range.
