Green Valley Country Club

This is not a country club - it's a club in the country.  It is one of the most beautiful golf courses you can find in California and their beautiful mansion is set on what used to be one of the largest Cherry Orchards in the world.  Great place to golf but the food and child care options for members could be improved GREATLY!

I just had my wedding at Green Valley Country Club on 9/20/2014. It was absolutely perfect! Everything looked and tasted wonderfully. The country club is a beautiful and elegant, yet cozy and home-like venue for a wedding. I worked with coordinator Amy and Chef Jason, they are both amazing. They answer all of your questions quickly and are accommodating to your needs and wants as the bride and groom. Amy was very helpful with the planning, rehearsal, setting up all of my decorations, communicating with the vendors, and making the day run so smoothly. Chef Jason created delicious and unique dishes that all of my guests enjoyed.  He also picked awesome beer and wine and had great suggestions for the food. These two are a great team, they work together well and made my day perfect! The serving and bar staff did a wonderful job as well! I highly recommend this venue, I couldn't be happier with how my special day turned out.

I've left 2 voice mails over the past 2 weeks and still haven't heard back about the missing items that were left at the venue, even left a voice mail for the GM and NOTHING. Very disappointing.

I'm a big fan of Yelp and I was very disappointed to see so little reviews on this venue before I booked it for my wedding.

First of all the venue is beautiful and truly a hidden gem as the staff primarily relies on word of mouth for their marketing. It's a historic estate that's been converted into a private residence / country club. The prices per person are very reasonable and their only minimum requirement is you have 100 guests. The other wonderful facts about this venue is they only do one wedding a day so you can, most often, arrange an earlier set up time and you can select any 6 hour window of time you would like!

The food is provided by GVCC and, as most banquet-style venue's go, tasting the food was not an option prior to the event. This made me very nervous but I was too in love with the venue to not take the chance.

On the day of the event the staff was superb and attended to every need my guests had. They passed beautiful appetizers on silver trays and offered coffee service to each guest from silver urns. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I couldn't have been more pleased and the biggest compliment of all was having people ask me after the wedding who the cater was!
