One of my most favorite courses in the lower mainland...every time I go there its a treat for me because the fairways are forgiving (but some of the greens aren't :) ) and the drainage is excellent on even on the most soggiest of days...I even played this course in a middle of a rainstorm once...The best part is that it costs about $20 to play this course no matter the time of year and you can book a tee time online...even if you're a single (which is great for a lone golfer for me)....
It's only a 9 hole course but they let you play twice though to get the full 18 experience. Cheaper than full sized courses, but with this course there are only two tee boxes - Men's & ladies'.
No bookings required so you can just show up if you want. I've done that many a times and met some great fellow golfers filling out a foursome.
