Should seriously consider making them GUR. Hard as rock. Greens are playable but very chewed up, its a shame people cant fix their ball marks.
They would not play this course again.
Jennifer and the team at Galloping Hill truly made our wedding an unforgettable experience! They collaborated with us on every detail, and accommodated our personal preferences, wishes and hopes for the perfect ceremony and reception. Our guests were treated with the utmost care, and had a wonderful time as a result. We could not have asked for a better venue, and would recommend them to any bride and groom who desire a dream wedding experience.
I had my wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course on Friday 9/12/14. I booked the venue a year from the date, shortly after they had just started to do weddings. I loved the staff and that only one wedding would be able to take place at a time, so you basically had the whole place to yourself. I fell in love with the venue the minute I saw it and knew that this would be the venue I wanted to have my wedding at. There were a few mini hiccups throughout the night, but that is given for any big event with a lot of people. The food was beyond amazing and the staff was exceptional. I had family members call me off the hook after the wedding, to tell me and my family how wonderful everything was at the wedding. My Great Aunt who is 82 years old, even said that our wedding was the best wedding she has been to in the 82 years she has been alive. Boy does that say a lot about a venue and its staff! Jen was phenomenal and was there for us when needed and Cynthia, the bridal assistant, couldn't be more helpful and genuine. Great Job Galloping Hill. Thank you for assisting in making my wedding the best day of my life!
The course is well designed, but the clientele is not your usual golf crowd.Terrible course! Starters are too nice and allow 5.6 ad even 7 balls. Even though it's a short par 3 course, it 's prtty challenging wth narrow fairways and difficult pin placemns. It just slows up play for everyone else. This course need better oversight.
We had an unbelievable wedding at the Galloping Hill Golf Course on August 23. My husband and I live in Union County, and after looking at several venues all over the state, we couldn't believe that our ideal spot was so local! Our ceremony was held in the picturesque ceremony space. All of the guests enjoyed being driven down to the ceremony space in golf carts. The food at our cocktail hour was outstanding. We loved that the Club House offered an excellent selection of cocktail stations and passed hors d'oeuvres - classics along with many unique options. The menu options were much more contemporary than the other venues - great for foodies! During the cocktail hour, our 220 guests and they were able to comfortably mingle in the interior space and out on the balcony. The reception hall looked gorgeous - the space feels clean, fresh, elegant, and fun!
Jennifer and her team did an amazing job preparing for the event and making sure everything went off without a hitch. Our staff for the day of the event was also excellent. My bridal concierge, Cynthia, super helpful to us and our parents and had the best attitude! I can't recommend this place enough!!
