What do I say about friendly hills country club?
Well; in the early days of the country club, the whole location was made to let the rich in, and the poor out; the old white men in and (more or less) everyone else out.
The country club used to be a rich mans game.
Since then, the tables have turned, so much so that the (once majority, now) minority race of Anglo Saxons don't bother even going to feh can except for an occasional drunken swing at a few golf balls.
I'll stop at that to avoid a rant (too late)
Basically, last I went; FHCC had seen better days, I would check it out and such but Especially do NOT join until you check out the place first.
Sure, Friendly Hills was an Amazing club...But it has seen better days.
Had our company party at Friendly Hills Golf Course, Christine was right on to every details! Christine and Staff were AMAZING!
this country club would not disappoint if it was JUST a golf and tennis club.
either way, after long last, the Friendly Hills Country Club has become a place for a man's man who bought at the right time in friendly hills to hang his hat, and play some golf.
which is what a country club should be. but with all of the different ones out there now offering more you end up with a quagmire of activity offerings in a facility that is mainly built for golf.
After we had our 50th wedding anniversary at Friendly Hills C.C ,last year on October 2012 .( we hired Todd Elliot Entertainment, based in Beverly Hills,as our entertainer, with Bob's yer Uncle musicians, we highly recomend this) and experiencing how professional Christine Bobadilla was at helping us with the details, like the linens, floor plan, etc., we became members. That was the best decision ever, we enjoy their events, Chef Joe is amazing, and all the employees are very courteous and ready to help, it has turned out to be our home away from home!!!

I really enjoyed playing at friendly hills for a tournament. The greens are manicured very well. Green speed isn't too fast. This places is nestled in Whittier very close to hacienda heights. If you get a chance to play here I would strongly suggest it!
