They have 3 separate nine holes and I have found all three of them to be enjoyable layouts and always in good condition. I would have to rank it as one of my favorite courses in Denver. It is a very walkable course. I have only played it a handful of times and can't really address pace of play as each time I played it was later in the afternoon and the course was not full.
Had a buddy with a few free passes to this course. We played there a few times. Every time the course seemed to get better and better. Earlier in the season the course wasn't in the best shape. They managed to pull it around and it is playing really well now.
I will caution you this, early mornings up until about 10 or 11 AM it's basically an old men's club. The pace tends to be slow, as the old guys want to line up their putts as if they are PGA professionals.
The course does contain three different nine-hole courses. All of which offer a variety of different looks.
Cart service is hard-to-find, you rarely see a cart girl around. Although, once you do find one they're very nice and accommodating.
The people to play this course often seem to think that it's a tough track. I on the other hand find it to be somewhat of an easy track.
All in all we enjoy the course just be prepared for slow-paced and a lack of beverages.
Played in July of 2013. Played the Links and Canyon nines. I found both nines to be of the links variety and challenging.
Pros: Good and challenging layout. Course was in good condition and well maintained. Price was $45 (price varies based on time, walking/riding, resident or non resident) which I thought was a good deal. I walked and was non-resident.
Cons: While we were able to play a much quicker back nine it was apparent this course gets some slow play. We were done in 4 hours and 20 minutes but at the pace we were on on the front nine it could have been 5 hours easy.
I played the Links/Canyon layout and was really happy with the course. In really nice shape, good views, and most importantly hard yet fair. Maybe it was just a one time thing, but the people in the pro shop weren't overly friendly to put it one way which was annoying. Staff on the course though was great and enjoyable to be around. Definitely going to make a return trip here.
Great public course, great price. 3 different and challenging nines.
