I just got home from a few day Bussiness trip in Dallas/Irving. I had the pleasure to stay at the 4 seasons. I have never stayed hear but have heard great things.
The staff was amazing. Davis especially he is one of the best bartenders I have ever come across and I TRAVEL To many 4* hotels in north and South America regularly Unfortunately I arrived at the 19th hole bar well after midnight on a weekday and Davis was just finishing cleaning to close. probably should have just gone to bed because I really didn't need any more but I wanted a few more. Davis suggested I go across the street and they stay open later so did. When I order my drink the bar tender says that drink is on Davis. Are you kidding me Davis called the place and told them I was stoping and bought me a drink. The next day I had lunch at the 19th hole and speaking with the great bartender/server who's name I can't remember suggested the dag wood sandwich "awesome". I returned the next night and had an amazing rib eye with garlic mushrooms recommended by no the less Davis. I had very similar meal down the street the day prior and just couldn't compare. Then my friend at this point Davis suggested something called "Mud slide" or something like that and I wasn't even thinking of desert but I went for it. Again And I hate using the word but "Awesome"!!! I have been in service industry for 20 years and if I could have had a guy like Davis, Johnny gal like Kortney and the girl I don't remember her name I would have taken the next step to open a restaurant myself and stole them from 4 seasons!!! Now to talk about the house keeping! Again the "Awesome" comes out. I had to work from my room one day and house keeping knocks and I said I'm good. They didn't understand. I'm an easy guy don't need much. But they called after I sent them away and wanted to At the least to turn down the bed. I wish I could live at the 4 seasons. Wish I could have stayed the whole weekend. For sure if I get back to Texas I'm staying at 4 seasons!!!!
Had bad service. But manager, Jeff worked hard to improve our experience. Look forward to returning and getting the experience you'd expect at four seasons.
recently stayed at your hotel in Dallas Ok first of all your bell hop did not pull out all of my bags from the cab i was dropped off from. It took me 2 hours and 40 dlls to recover my bag. Second i had dinner in your restaurant cafe by the green, i had the beff tartare and the tuna, my dad had a taste from the beff tatare, we both experienced an awfull night with big stomach cramps my dad having diareha. Him only having one bite! I however have the bigest stomach infection i have ever suffered in my life. Im writting this to you so you check the quality of your food before poisoning others. I know it was your food because i did not eat all day because i was travelling to dallas and had just coffe and fruit the morning i left to Dallas. I cant believe the bad service from your staff and the horrible food from your restaurant coming from a Four Seasons Hotel!
While this is a beautiful hotel, the attitude of some of the staff is a real put-off. I will say they have one of the nicest gyms I have ever used in a hotel. The evening restaurant manager is a jerk and really put our group off yesterday. When you spend this kind of money you expect to be treated better.
We just hosted our wedding here. Even though we are local to Dallas, the weekend felt like a destination wedding because the resort is so beautiful and relaxing. The service was impeccable, the room was first class, the food was amazing...I can't say enough good things about it. We are so pleased!! We would recommend this hotel for any event, or for a fun weekend staycation.
