Believe it or not, I'm going with 3. Yes, it is no frills. Yes the clubhouse hasn't been remodeled in 30 years. Yes, the layout is a bit weird, lots of short doglegs. But we played on a Saturday at noon, had the place to ourself, for $15. It is in typical municipal course condition, and the greens were small but well maintained. Yes there are some bumps on the road on the way in. Not the course's fault. I was going to do 2 stars, but how could I do that when half the fun is being a 5 iron from the MSP runway? It is a fantastic course for beginners due to the short flat length and lack of crowds.
They also have a frisbee golf course. I think I read that it is going to be closed so get out and play while you still can!
The boyfriend was looking to go for a round of golf this past weekend. Thought that I would drop him off to go golfing while I would go shopping- the perfect plan until we got to the golf course.
We drove around in a circle could not find the club house and as Matt put it "It looks like a war zone. Do they practice from the Fort here?"
The road there was all gravel and pothole & the green's weren't cut. If you wanted to hunt for your ball go ahead and play but good luck trying to get anywhere!
