Dunstable Downs Golf Course provides an interesting challenge for golfers of all abilities. The present layout was planned by James Braid in 1930. Originally 6,600 yards the course plays almost 400 less than that, with the front 10 very much parkland golf and the remaining 8, along the top of the downs, being more links in nature. Regardless of style all 18 holes feature welcoming fairways that require a wide spectrum of approach shots to get close to the pins. Thanks to the chalky subsoil the course is playable for most of the year and is always dry with fast, true-contoured greens. Please be aware that tee times are approximate.
