My husband and I had our wedding here in June and it was BEYOND gorgeous. The grounds are so beautiful and the staff made essentially every part of the club available to us. It's also extremely private - we felt like our wedding was in a private resort. There was so many beautiful landscapes for photos, including their bridge, lake and front of the club.
The one advice I'd offer would be to hire a coordinator. They have so many events going on and the staff is in and out of the office so frequently that it's helpful to have another event planner helping you sort all of the details. Other than that, they were extremely flexible and catered to all of our requests!
I don't play golf but I was invited to an event and I am definitely interested in going back and signing up for fitness classes soon. This is an amazing place. Beside the rooms for the events, they have a fitness center. I liked their wine. Their service is great too. The party that night was amazing, partially because of the organizer and the crowd, but partially because of this beautiful golf club. I am glad that I was introduced to it.
I played here for an event. Beautiful, scenic holes. Well-maintained greens and fairways. Lots of rolling hills on the fairways and the greens. Wonderful service. Food was also very tasty.
When we moved to California a couple of years ago we looked around to find a good club to join. We toured the facility and really liked it. I played a complementary round of golf and fell in love with the course.
The course has a wide variety of play from several sets of tees. There's also a combined rating playing and alternation of white and blue tees. The grounds team keeps the course in great shape. The snack shack on the course serves very good food and service. It's nice that it's after the 5th hole and circles back after the 7th. This way you can please a quick order for some food to be prepared and it's ready when you come back around. Great for a quick moving game. But there are tables and chars if you want to sit and eat and let others play through while you eat.
I really like the club house staff. The staff that work the bag drop & carts are extremely helpful, professional and friendly. The pro shop staff is great. The the staff in the bar / grill are a joy. The restaurant staff really make you feel welcome.
The food is also very good. I prefer their chicken Cesar salad. I have friend that are social, sports and golf members. Everyone that I have talked to feel welcome and well treated.
Wonderful venue for any event! I went last night to the 'To dine for' event organized by Riviera magazine where local chefs were paired to local and not so local artists of different areas and I found this place to be absolutely amazing! It says located in Rancho Santa Fe, but I would say this corresponds more to Del Sur area (therefore does not seem that 'far away' and took me only 9 minutes to go there directly from my work in RB).
That said, you get transported to some Mediterranean resort in this place, tiles on the floor with blues and terracottas, fireplaces, coziness, olive trees giving that south of Spain or Greek island feel. Very lovely place with different scenarios and areas. The main patio is big enough without feeling overwhelmingly huge, perfect for the type of event I went to.
Funny thing is that to get to the venue, you have to pass 2 gates: the main one is mostly for the (lucky) residents of the (looks like) recently build houses, and then you keep driving and will encounter a second gate that conduce you to The Crosby. Classy decor but not old fashioned at all. Loved it.
