Awesome review Michael S. Very informative... #Sarcasm
My work had their annual golf outing here a few weeks back and overall I was fairly impressed. This was my first time ever really golfing however I kill at Putt-Putt for the record though.
The course has a nice layout and I am glad we started out on the back nine as the tree coverage offered quite a bit of shade. It was decently hot that day and the sun was blazing so we lucked out in that department. The front nine is much more out in the open so by the time we got there the sun had already started to die down a bit.
My only gripe is the transition from the second to the third hole is a little confusing. There were no signs to point out we had to go backwards and cut through the woods to get to it. We spent a few minutes driving around trying to figure out where it was before we found it.
The Rangers really didn't give us too much gripe for all of the shenanigans our group were partaking in and I think it's due to the fact that we reserved the entire place for the outing and as we go there every year they were a little more laxed. All in all it was a fun alcohol filled adventure and I must say I didn't suck as nearly as much as I thought I would have.
I play this course quite often and find it very enjoyable. Most holes have a very peaceful setting. I have found the staff very
courteous and the food good. The outings are very well organized and the beer cart girls very efficient. Overall, I really enjoy this course.
The overall course is decent. You pay 25$ for 9 holes and a cart. The holes typically have puddles and are very wet due to elevation. The Staffing at this place is extremely rude and unprofessional. My Son is on the golf team and they are constantly rude to him and his fellow teammates. All Student golfers are "supposed" to receive free small buckets of balls to practice with and free golf if open times are available. On the other hand, the Staffing is always saying something rude to my son and his fellow teammates. Things such as "We give you enough free stuff, you don't need anything else" and refusing to give them any range or golf time, even when nobody is out. This has been a issue for the longest time. The staff becomes very rude when you take your kids out to this course. It makes you feel like burden to teach your kids how to golf. Lastly the food is overpriced and honestly not worth the money. In my opinion, Bellow woods is a better course to play at. For 20$ you can play 18 holes and get a cart. The staffing is friendly and helpful and they don't make you feel like you're a burden for coming to their course. Overall the course is lacking in many areas.
Slow, loud, food quality so-so.
Don't waste your time at this potato farm.
